HMCLONDON COMMUNITY

HMCLondon Community

Connecting People. Supporting Minds. Creating Opportunities.

HMCLondon Community is an inclusive community initiative created by Healthy Mind Clinic London (HMCL) to bring people together around a shared belief: everyone should have better opportunities to access mental health support, develop new skills, build meaningful connections and contribute positively to their community.

Membership is completely free and is open to everyone. You do not need to be a healthcare professional, therapist or existing patient of Healthy Mind Clinic London. Whether you are a professional, student, parent, business owner, community worker, retired person or simply someone who believes in supporting better mental health, you are welcome to become part of HMCLondon Community.

1. Free Annual Membership

There is no annual membership fee. Members can join HMCLondon Community free of charge and access the benefits available under the community membership programme, subject to the applicable terms and eligibility requirements.

Our aim is to build an accessible and diverse community in which financial circumstances or professional background are not barriers to participation.

2. Supporting People Receiving UK Government Benefits

HMCLondon Community is committed to improving access to psychological support for people experiencing financial difficulties.

Eligible community members who receive qualifying UK Government benefits, including Universal Credit, may receive up to an 80% discount on specified eligible HMCL services, subject to eligibility verification, clinical suitability, availability and the terms of the programme.

This initiative is designed to make appropriate psychological support more accessible to individuals and families who may otherwise struggle with the cost of private services.

3. Six-Month Referral Pathways Development Training

Eligible members may have the opportunity to apply for a free six-month training programme with HMCL to develop skills in referral pathway development and community engagement.

The programme is designed to provide practical knowledge and experience that may support participants wishing to work independently as Freelance Referral Pathways Development Officers.

Where a participant is accepted under a separate referral arrangement, they may be eligible to receive a 10% referral-related payment on qualifying referrals, including during and following successful completion of the programme, subject to HMCL’s written terms, applicable professional and regulatory requirements, and the relevant referral agreement.

Participation in training does not in itself constitute employment or guarantee income, referrals or future work.

4. Priority Appointments for Family and Friends

Community is also about supporting the people who matter to us.

HMCLondon Community members may request priority appointment access for eligible family members, friends and loved ones, with HMCL aiming to offer an initial appointment within three working days, subject to clinical urgency, clinician availability and service suitability.

Where appropriate, HMCL can also arrange psychological assessments and reports through its clinical services.

5. Free Parking at Our Head Office Clinic

Members attending eligible appointments, meetings, training or community activities at the HMCL Head Office Clinic in London may have access to complimentary parking, subject to availability and the parking terms applicable at the location.

6. Free Access to HMCL Community Events

HMCLondon Community members can attend eligible Healthy Mind Clinic London community events free of charge.

These may include mental health awareness events, educational sessions, community meetings, professional networking opportunities, wellbeing initiatives and other HMCL activities.

Our events are intended to create connections between people from different backgrounds while encouraging greater understanding and awareness of mental health.

7. 25% Discount on Eligible Psychological Reports

Members may receive a 25% discount on specified psychological assessment and report services provided by HMCL where an appropriate report is clinically and professionally justified.

Depending on the circumstances and the requirements of the requesting organisation, reports may be prepared for submission to organisations such as schools, local authorities, the Home Office and courts.

All assessments and reports remain subject to appropriate clinical assessment, professional standards, informed consent, applicable legal requirements and the independent professional judgement of the clinician.

Everyone Is Welcome

HMCLondon Community is more than a membership programme. It is a community built around connection, opportunity, inclusion and better mental health.

You don’t have to be a healthcare professional. You don’t have to be an HMCL patient. You simply need to share our belief that healthier minds can help create healthier families, workplaces and communities.

Membership is free. Membership is inclusive. Everyone is welcome.
